Facilities upgrade as Sarginsons strives for further improvement
June 4, 2018
Sarginsons Industries is investing in its company HQ to improve the environment for staff.
The firm has been upgrading showers, toilets and other facilities at its base in Torrington Avenue, Coventry, as part of its continued investment for the future.
The work was undertaken during a weeklong shutdown of the main manufacturing facilities to allow for key maintenance work to be carried out.
The company returned to full manufacturing capability today.
Anthony Evans, managing director of Sarginsons, said: “We want the best possible working environment for our staff and we continue to invest in technology, training and our facilities to make sure we strive for constant improvement.
“The upgrades took place while most of the staff were on a week off ready for them to come back to shiny new facilities on their return.”
After the shutdown, Sarginsons will be undergoing assessments to make the jump from TS16949 accreditation to IATF16949.
Anthony added: “Meeting and surpassing the highest possible standards is important to us as it gives our range of clients confidence in our processes and products.”
