Sarginsons’ energy efficiency best practice to be showcased at launch event
July 13, 2017
Sarginsons Industries is delighted to have been asked to present at the launch of a major energy efficiency event.
Managing Director, Anthony Evans, will address guests at the launch of the Green Business Network – to be held at Coventry University’s Simulation Centre on Friday, July 14 from 7.30am.
The launch is a free breakfast event to find out how the Green Business Network can help businesses save money, enhance skills and knowledge and help businesses to become more energy efficient.
Sarginsons was the first company to utilise the Coventry and Warwickshire Green Business Programme earlier this year. The programme is part financed by the European Regional Development Fund and is being delivered by Coventry City Council, Coventry University and Coventry University Enterprises Ltd.
Two new gas furnaces and a new air compressor system have been installed following a six-figure investment, including grant funding of £26,365. New LED lighting is also being installed across our facility.
The investment will see Sarginsons reduce its CO2 emissions by as much as 335 tonnes of CO2e per annum as a result of the significant savings in the company’s annual electricity consumption.
We look forward to sharing further details about our investment project at the launch event.
