Sarginsons backs local football club

Coventry-based Sarginsons Industries – renowned for bringing through the next generation of engineers – is investing in the future of the city’s football talent too.
The world-leading lightweight casting company based in Torrington Avenue regularly brings through apprentices in the sector as it continues to expand.
Now the company has sponsored local junior football side Ernesford Dynamos Under-12s to allow them to buy a shiny new kit and continue the success of their own.
The team, which plays in the John Bryan Coventry Minor League, has 12 members of the squad and play nine a-side football on Sunday mornings.
The sponsorship came about via Sarginsons’ head of admin, Nichola Bonsor, whose son, Jon, is a silky-skilled right winger for Ernesford, who play in an Inter Milan-style, black-and-blue-striped strip.
Nichola, who has worked at Sarginsons for 17 years, said: “The lads are thrilled with the kit and they are all really grateful to the company for making it possible.
“When I mentioned to Anthony Evans, the managing director, that they were in need of a new strip he said straight away that Sarginsons would sponsor the team.
“They’ve been having a really good season so far and they are certainly going to look the part for the final matches and we’re hoping they can finish it in style.”
Anthony added: “We’re proud to support Ernesford Dynamos, which is a well-established club in the city.
“We wish them all the very best for the season and I have absolutely no doubt that Nichola will be keeping me informed of their results!”
