Low Pressure, Low Porosity

Sarginsons is a low porosity aluminium foundry, which effectively means it specialises in safety critical and mechanically strong components. Whilst Sarginsons has sand cast components with ASTM level 0 porosity, they usually look to low pressure casting for our higher performing components. Sarginsons has been operating low pressure presses for over 15 years, for both sand and metal die, and feel we are amongst the UK market leaders in this field. 

Sarginsons world leading technology in Digital Twin Simulations was developed specifically to complement our low pressure casting of safety critical cast components. Being able to simulate TYE at any point on a cast form is a massive advantage as it really allows the inherent design advantages of Liquid Metal Engineering to be exploited.
